The day before the New Year’s Day, Neil and his groomsmen carried trays of food to Huong’s home to ask her parents for her hand in marriage and to ask their permission to call them his parents according to the Vietnamese tradition.

On New Year’s Day with a forecast of rain, Neil and Huong were joined together in their beautiful outdoor ceremony. Though the rain streaked the sky in the distance, luck was on their side and only a few drops touched ground before nightfall. A notably sweet and loving couple, Neil and Huong wrote their own heartfelt vows committing their lives to one another. During the reception, their joy filled the the room as their friends toasted to their spiritual and caring relationship.
